WOODEN NICKELS


A Wooden Nickel is a token coin used by a bank, merchant or others as a promotion, sometimes redeemable
for drink or similar. In 1933, the Chicago World's Fair issued wooden nickels as a souvenir and the tradition
continues today.
Wooden nickels are issued as round coin-like pieces as well as rectangular currency-like pieces.
